Information on the Right of Withdrawal
Under the consumer protection legislation of the European Union — in particular Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council on consumer rights — you, as a consumer, are entitled to a right of withdrawal without giving any reason.
The right of withdrawal is available exclusively to consumers, i.e. natural persons acting for purposes which are outside their trade, business, craft or profession.
1. Right of Withdrawal and Deadline
You have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is calculated as follows:
- Single product purchase: 14 days from the day on which you or a third party indicated by you, other than the carrier, acquires physical possession of the goods.
- Multiple goods ordered in one order but delivered separately: 14 days from the day on which you or a third party indicated by you acquires physical possession of the last good.
- Goods consisting of multiple lots or pieces: 14 days from the day on which you or a third party indicated by you acquires physical possession of the last lot or piece.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
2. Exercising the Right of Withdrawal
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from the contract by an unequivocal statement. You may do so in the following ways:
- By completing the online withdrawal form — this is the simplest and fastest method. You will find the form at the bottom of this page.
- By written statement sent by email to hello@multiviewdigital.com.
We will send you a confirmation of receipt of your withdrawal declaration without delay by email.
3. Effects of Withdrawal — Refund
If you withdraw from the contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We shall make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw. We shall reimburse you using the same means of payment you used for the initial transaction. If you prefer to receive the refund by bank transfer instead, you may voluntarily provide your bank account details on the withdrawal form — by providing your bank account number, you expressly consent to receiving the refund by bank transfer. You shall not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
Right of retention: we may withhold the reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or until you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
4. Return of Goods
We will promptly inform you of the exact return address following the processing of your withdrawal declaration.
You shall send back the goods without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.
The direct cost of returning the goods shall be borne by the consumer.
5. Consumer's Liability
The consumer shall only be liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling of the goods other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
You may try out the product to the extent that would be possible in a physical shop (e.g. visual inspection, checking the size, testing basic functionality). However, you shall be liable for any diminished value resulting from use beyond what is necessary, improper handling or damage.
6. Exceptions — When the Right of Withdrawal Does NOT Apply
Pursuant to Article 16 of Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal shall not apply in the following cases:
- Custom-made goods — goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised (e.g. custom specifications, size or configuration).
- Sealed goods for hygiene reasons — sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, where the seal has been broken after delivery.
- Inseparably mixed goods — goods which, after delivery, are according to their nature inseparably mixed with other items.
- Perishable goods — goods which are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.
- Sealed audio/video recordings or computer software — where the seal has been broken after delivery.
- Newspapers, periodicals and magazines — with the exception of subscription contracts.
- Digital content not supplied on a tangible medium — if the performance has begun with the consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgement that the right of withdrawal is thereby lost.
The above list contains the most common cases. The complete list of exceptions is set out in Article 16 of Directive 2011/83/EU and the applicable national legislation.
7. Model Withdrawal Form
The easiest way to exercise your right of withdrawal is by completing the online form below. If you wish to submit a written declaration, you may use the following model form (based on Annex I(B) of Directive 2011/83/EU):
