The Steinberg Systems pyrometer is ideal for situations requiring fast and precise temperature measurements. It can be used at home (e.g., while cooking, baking, or grilling) as well as in professional settings. It will be helpful, for example, in offices, factories, auto repair shops, school classrooms, or during electrical work.
The device can record readings ranging from -50 to 1300°C, giving users a wide range of objects suitable for testing. If the permissible values are exceeded, an alarm will sound. The device features a data logging function. Auto-off deactivates the device after 10 seconds of inactivity, conserving battery life. The temperature conversion function converts °C to °F. Additionally, the thermometer features an emissivity adjustment function—from 0.1 to 1—which increases accuracy for objects with different surface types.
The result has an accuracy of ±2°C or ±2%. This model allows for remote measurement—the user does not need to touch the object.
