The professional Stamos Soldering laboratory power supply is designed to convert alternating current into direct current at a selected voltage. To enhance usability, the device is equipped with an RS232 port and includes a USB cable. These allow you to connect the power supply to a computer, facilitating control and programming of the equipment. The necessary software is included on the CD provided in the kit.
Operation of the power supply is monitored via 2 clear LED displays. They display four-digit values for voltage and current, along with their units. Additionally, the LEDs indicate panel lock, active protection system, and memory mode. Control is provided by a convenient knob and buttons. This allows you to precisely set the correct values and select the operating mode.
The built-in memory function significantly simplifies working with the power supply. It is used to save and restore previous settings. With this mode, the power supply will remember the initial and exact parameters, whether the beep is on or off, the voltage and current levels, as well as whether the outputs are to be on or off.
User safety is ensured by a special system that shuts down the power supply if it reaches an excessively high temperature. In addition, an overload protection system and a panel lock are included to prevent accidental changes to the settings. Furthermore, the device is quiet, which significantly improves working comfort. Rubber feet prevent the device from sliding on the work surface.
