Liftarc 250 A MIG/MAG MMA FLUX IGBT TIG Inverter Welder
£235€275
Warranty:2 years
Manufacturer code: 10021501
The Stamos MAGITEX 250 MIG/MAG welder utilizes the latest IGBT inverter technology and offers the highest level of versatility and quality. Smooth adjustment of the welding current up to 250 A ensures optimal welds for a wide variety of tasks. When welding with wire, you can choose between solid wire, which requires shielding gas, or cored wire without additional gas. The MIG welder is complemented by an MMA welding option, allowing for trouble-free outdoor use in windy conditions. The TIG Liftarc method is also available. All operating values are always visible on the clear control panel. It is equally easy to select the welding method between MIG/MAG, with self-shielded wire (FLUX), TIG Liftarc, and MMA, as well as to switch between 2T and 4T modes. At full power, the MIG welder reaches 250 A and a 60% duty cycle. It also features an integrated storage compartment for the wire spool. Depending on the type and diameter of the welding wire, the appropriate mode is selected on the control panel, or SYNC mode is activated so that the parameters are selected automatically. MIG welding uses inert gases for copper, magnesium, and other non-ferrous metals and their alloys. In contrast, the MAG method requires an active gas to optimally join structural steel, steel, and most of their alloys. For welding without shielding gas, use flux-cored wire and select FLUX mode. The TIG method in this model uses Liftarc ignition to activate the arc. For spot welding, select the SPOT function on the display. The control panel makes it easy to set the current up to 200 A. The MMA welding mode is mainly used for welding iron or copper, as well as alloys such as cast iron or steel. Since no gas is required for stick welding, the machine can also be used in challenging conditions, such as windy environments. The Arc Force function ensures optimal results thanks to a stable arc.
