The MSW magnetic drill is suitable for drilling, countersinking, tapping, and ring drilling—ideal for industrial and commercial metalworking. It doesn’t matter whether you’re working vertically or horizontally. A powerful electromagnetic base securely holds the machine in the desired position. The machine has a power output of 1680 W. You can adjust the speed continuously up to 395 rpm. For thread cutting, you can reverse the rotation direction. This reliably prevents damage to the freshly cut thread when unscrewing. All settings are made on a convenient control panel. The drilling depth is adjusted using a three-arm knob. Thanks to the large stroke range from 0 to 165 mm, you can work with exceptional flexibility. The integrated spirit level allows you to assess the drill bit’s position. The drill also features an integrated coolant reservoir. For simple tasks, fill the 0.3 L container with tap water. For more demanding drilling applications, use special coolant or drilling oil. This extends the service life of the drill bits and minimizes maintenance. The maximum holding force is 18,000 N—equivalent to a weight of nearly 2 tons—and the magnet also allows you to work on thinner materials. The included safety strap provides additional protection. For example, in the event of a power failure, it prevents injury or damage to the workpiece. The device is also equipped with a RCD magnetic switch. If the drive is accidentally turned on after a power failure or disconnection from the mains, the motor will still not start. Operation is only possible again after the magnetic switch has been activated. The set includes: a drill chuck for shanks up to 16 mm in diameter, a coolant reservoir, spare carbon brushes, an MK3 chuck / 19 mm Weldon shank, fuses, all assembly tools, and many other useful components.
