Use the blade guard to position the wood against the stop and plane it while avoiding injury. Then feed the wood through the planer-thicknesser and level the parallel surfaces. The passage height can be adjusted from 5 to 120 mm as required, allowing the board to slide across the planer’s 270 x 303 mm work table.
