The MSW magnetic drill, thanks to its design, allows for operation in difficult conditions and in various positions, such as vertically. This is made possible by a powerful 18,000 N electromagnet, which keeps the device in a stable position. Its relatively light weight and long power cord (2 m) make it possible to place the drill in any location. Efficient operation is ensured by a 1,300 W motor, which allows drilling at speeds of up to 600 rpm. A three-piece rotating chuck is responsible for setting the drilling depth (up to 50 mm). It moves the movable part of the tool along the guide rail within a range of 0 mm to 175 mm. The drill is equipped with a cooling system designed to reduce the drill bit’s temperature during operation. It consists of a 300 ml tank and a 50 cm tube. This improves efficiency when machining metal parts and extends the drill bit’s service life. The equipment is easy to operate thanks to large buttons located on one side of the drill. They allow you to start the motor and electromagnet and select the drilling direction. There is also a stepless speed control knob for adjusting the speed. A built-in spirit level ensures the machine is properly aligned. Safe operation is ensured by a RCD magnetic switch, which protects against electric shock and accidental activation. The fuses included in the set protect the electrical circuit from overload. Additionally, a lockout mechanism prevents the drill from starting when the solenoid is off.
