The Wiesenfield hammer mill is a high-performance machine that grinds a wide range of materials into grain-sized particles that can be easily processed further. It is suitable for grain, straw, alfalfa, or wood chips. The resulting meal is suitable for animal feed production or wood pellet production. With an output power of 4 kW, the motor, operating at 2800 rpm, drives 16 hammers in the mill. The machine’s capacity is 200–300 kg/h. Note that the output depends on the type of grain or raw material and the moisture content of the material. For best results, the moisture content should not exceed 15%. The grains are forced against the outer screen by centrifugal forces acting on the grain during grinding. The screen aperture size determines how coarse the mill will grind. Apertures of 4 and 6 mm are available. The finished grind is collected by a cyclone. The hammer mill impresses with its ease of use, large hopper, and robust construction. This allows for the production and processing of large quantities of ground material. A stable base ensures safe operation.
