The Wiesenfield hammer mill allows you to prepare raw materials such as grain, straw, alfalfa, or wood chips for a pellet press. This high-performance machine shreds a wide range of materials into grain-sized pieces that can be easily processed further. This produces exactly the type of meal needed for animal feed or wood pellet production. With an output power of 2.2 kW, the motor, operating at a rotational speed of 2986 rpm, drives 12 hammers in the mill. Thanks to its excellent performance, the hammer mill can achieve a production rate of 60–120 kg/h. The output depends on the type of grain or raw material and the moisture content of the material. For best results, the moisture content should not exceed 15%. The grains are flung against the outer screen by centrifugal forces acting on the grain during grinding. The screen aperture size determines how coarse the mill will grind. Screen apertures of 3, 4, and 7 mm are available for the hammer mill. The finished grind is discharged through a side outlet. The grinder impresses with its ease of use, large hopper, and robust construction. This allows for the production and processing of large quantities of ground material. A stable work table ensures safe operation.
