The Stamos Welbach multifunctional welder supports MIG/MAG, TIG, and MMA welding techniques. Equipped with a modern IGBT inverter, the machine also functions as a plasma cutter. Operating parameters are set on a clear, digital panel featuring two LED screens. It allows you to select the welding technique, welding current, and pre- and post-gas flow times. The panel also allows you to select preset parameters to achieve the best results. The device features a synergy function, in which changing one welding parameter automatically adjusts the others accordingly. For MIG/MAG method, spools with a diameter of up to 200 mm are used to ensure long operating time. The feeder is designed for wires with a diameter of 0.8–1.2 mm. The speed is adjustable within the range of 2–15 m/min. The multifunctional welder enables TIG DC welding and produces high-quality welds in various positions. Thanks to high-frequency ignition, a stable arc is achieved from the very start, and it welds with high power up to 200 A. A welding current set below 110 A allows for continuous operation. For processing thin sheets from 0.5 mm, activate the Pulse function to join almost all self-fusing metals, such as steel, stainless steel, copper, or nickel. Components can be joined in various positions, whether vertical, horizontal, or overhead. The plasma torch easily cuts metals up to 15 mm thick at a maximum current of 50 A. The plasma arc is generated using compressed air. It cools the torch during cutting and leaves a clean edge. As with gas-shielded welding methods, you also have a 2-stroke or 4-stroke mode available here. The pilot arc is ignited at a high frequency. Effective even without gas when welding with electrodes. Shielded metal arc welding (MMA) allows for outdoor work and in strong winds. The method works without additional gas. The multi-function welder delivers a very stable current—ideal for good results. The VDR function ensures greater safety during MMA welding, especially in humid environments. The Hot Start function provides increased welding current for a short time after starting work. This ensures stable and clean welding.
