The Steinberg Systems Geiger counter allows you to effectively measure even small doses of radiation with high accuracy. It is suitable for use in geology, environmental protection technology, the pharmaceutical industry, nuclear power plants, and anywhere where excessive levels of radioactivity are suspected. The device’s measurement range is 0.001 μSv – 9999 Sv. The LCD screen with a bar graph display allows you to view the recorded values. You can select between α, β, γ radiation, and X-rays. In a Cobalt-60 radiation environment, the device offers a sensitivity of 4 MeV for α rays, 0.2 MeV for β rays, 0.02 MeV for γ rays, and 0.02 MeV for X-rays. Set a threshold that the alarm sound will clearly indicate when exceeded. The internal memory allows you to store up to 4,000 recorded radioactivity readings. The duration can be set from 2 to 12 seconds. The Bluetooth interface with a 10-meter range enables fast data transfer, and the included software allows you to analyze and store all collected information. The device’s housing is made of plastic and rubber. The meter is powered by 4 1.5 V AA batteries. The battery level can be checked on the display at any time.
