The Steinberg Systems laminar flow hood is ideal for use in a laboratory, pharmaceutical company, or manufacturing facility. Smooth stainless steel surfaces and filtered airflow ensure a closed system where bacteria and germs cannot thrive, providing sterile working conditions. The interior, measuring 480 x 340 x 370 mm, offers ample space for working with sensitive materials, cell cultures, or semiconductors. An airflow of 0.2–0.6 m/s prevents outside air from entering, which could negatively impact work. The flow rate can be adjusted smoothly as needed. The air is purified by a HEPA filter with 99.999% efficiency at a particle size of 0.3 μm. In addition, 8 W UV lamps also neutralize bacteria and germs. The safety chamber can be closed with tempered glass doors that protect against UV radiation. When the door is opened, the UV lamp turns off automatically. All parameters in the laminar flow chamber, set on the control panel via an LED display, are controlled by a microprocessor. The light source inside is an 8 W LED lamp. The chamber has a compact design that is easy to transport.
