The MSW Styrofoam Knife is ideal for cutting building insulation and ETICS systems, as well as for cutting recesses for cables or pipes, socket holes, window reveals, and for precision tasks in model making and more. This high-performance cutter can be used in both construction and retail. It is reliable, safe to operate, and ensures comfortable working conditions. To achieve precise edges, the thermal blade melts the material at the cutting point. Simply set the temperature to one of 16 levels up to 500°C. After a short heating period, the blade can easily be guided across materials such as expanded polystyrene (EPS), extruded polystyrene (XPS), polyethylene, polypropylene, and other thermoplastics. The hot knife can also be used in the warehouse to cut or shape polystyrene boards so that goods can be packed accurately and safely into boxes. The ergonomic handle allows for comfortable one-handed operation, and the long cable (3 m) ensures freedom of movement while working. The styrofoam cutting tool is also exceptionally compact, lightweight, and features a hanging loop. This comes in handy when you need to use both hands. The included blades are flexible and easy to replace. In addition to the Styrofoam cutter, the set also includes a wide range of accessories: 4 straight blades (100, 150, 200, and 250 mm), a rectangular blade (85 x 35 mm), 3 circular blades (20, 27, 34 mm), an adapter for grooving blades, a small groover, a groover with a guide (10–165 mm), a blade for blind holes (Ø30–150 mm) and a socket cutter (depth 30–90 mm, Ø70 mm), 2 flat blades, one guide for miter cuts (from -45° to 45°), and other accessories. All components of the set can be safely stored and transported in a durable case.
