The vacuum dryer is used for gentle, precise, and very fast drying of oxidation-sensitive materials: samples, electronic components, laboratory glassware, flammable solvents, etc. The airtight seal and absence of air circulation inside allow for the drying of powdered materials and granules. The use of a vacuum eliminates the oxidation of active substances, and the hermetic seal protects the material from external contamination.
Thanks to the ability to precisely set the temperature, it is suitable for tasks in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, university, and cosmetic laboratories, as well as in the research laboratories of various companies, e.g., mining companies.
Reduced drying time (without condensation) is ensured by the vacuum generated inside the chamber. A pressure lower than the ambient atmosphere is created in the chamber—up to a maximum of 133 Pa (0.00133 bar). The vacuum significantly accelerates the drying process. Removing air from the chamber increases safety when processing delicate samples, preventing the formation of scale and sediment.
The vacuum dryer is equipped with a digital PID temperature controller that allows for precise maintenance of a constant temperature inside the chamber (up to 250 °C). The heating intensity can be adjusted with an accuracy of 0.1 °C.
The shelf made of durable aluminum, located inside the chamber, can be easily slid in or out. The airtight door is equipped with a viewing window made of pressure-resistant, double-pane glass that protects against heat loss and implosion.
The spacious vacuum chamber (with a capacity of 20 liters) is made of durable, corrosion-resistant stainless steel that is also resistant to chemical agents. The smooth interior surfaces and rounded joints ensure easy cleaning of the chamber.
A 16 mm vacuum pump connection valve is located on the side of the unit. The vacuum pump is not included with the unit.
